Choose between our blood test at home or 'click and collect'?

For patients requiring face to face consultation and testing, we are located in Surrey Research Park, close to the Royal Surrey County Hospital and Guildford Nuffield Hospitals. However, we can also offer blood tests and cutting-edge screening tests.

Through our shop.scvc.co.uk, we offer home capillary blood testing, continuous glucose monitoring and general blood tests, many of which can be performed using an innovative capillary sampling system. Alternatively we offer formal blood sampling through a UK network of phlebotomy partners.

Extensive direct access test options

We offer over 200 different blood and urine tests that our consultants can specify to investigate symptoms and concerns.

With widespread use of AI and social media patients increasingly ask for direct access to sophisticated tests – many of which are not available under the NHS, and thus the interpretation of which can be quite challenging- ultimately requiring a formal clinical opinion from a private GP or consultant.

A unique feature of shop.scvc.co.uk is the inclusion of an expert medical opinion with every test result so the patient and their GP know what to do next, often saving the need for further (and pricey) consultations.

Capillary blood sampling

Ideal for people with needle phobia or poor veins, blood sampling is now possible using Activated Phlebotomy (TAP®). This technology uses an array of tiny needles combined with gentle suction to produce a 400 microlitre sample in most people without any sensation or discomfort. It is designed for people to use at home, with or without assistance.
