Chief Echo Physiologist
After Gill qualified as a Cardiac Technician at St George’s Hospital, London she trained in the newly developing field of Echocardiography. She gained Full Adult Accreditation from the British Society of Echocardiography.
She was an elected member of the British Society of Echocardiography Council, and later held the post of Treasurer for four years.
Gill was lead Echo Physiologist at the Royal Surrey for over 20 years and has always had a keen interest in complex Echocardiography. This included a specialist interest in Paediatric Echocardiography with the Cardiologists from Great Ormond Street Hospital, as well as supporting the training of Cardiac Physiologists and junior doctors.
Gill currently enjoys her role supervising the teaching of Echocardiography to intensivist doctors on Intensive Care at the Royal Surrey County NHS Hospital.
