In addition he sees private patients in Surrey and London. He has extensive expertise in general adult cardiology and has a particular interest in the management of heart rhythm disorders (electrophysiology) such as atrial fibrillation and complex pacing for heart failure.

His research in cardiac electrophysiology was supported by a prestigious MRC clinical training fellowship and led to the award of a PhD. Additionally he holds several academic prizes including the John Murray Prize in medicine and was runner up for the Presidents medal awarded by the Royal Society of Medicine for cardiology.
