The timing and type of surgery or intervention required for many heart valve and aortic conditions is of increasing importance due to the combination of improved imaging, risk stratification knowledge and emergence of minimally invasive technologies.
A specialist Heart team from the Royal Brompton Hospital visits Guildford every month to provide expert care and decision making, without patients having to visit London unless Surgery is required.
With increasing age and complexity of medical conditions this creates an ideal service since the Heart team very often has access to the entire local medical record and can thus make informed decisions.

Please note that our Heartscreen+ screening packages are designed for patients that have no clear symptoms of heart disease, so we would advise that if the patient has symptoms of chest pain on effort, heart failure, palpitation or blackouts they should be considered for referral to a Consultant Cardiologist for a formal Consultation and medical examination.
To book a heart screen ask your patient to call us during office hours or to complete our contact form using the button below.
